Patchwork Quilt - Album Coverby ~PhilLewis

Traditional Art / Drawings / Psychedelic

This is the cover artwork for the new Storytyme album entitled "Patchwork Quilt". The songs on the album cover many topics, and much like a patchwork quilt, they all come together to form one piece of art. I had a similar approach to creating the cover. I basically took sections of my other works, and pasted them around the Storytyme logo. I then printed out the rough version, and went back in with pens, and "sewed" the different sections together. After a few color balance and hue adjustments, it all came together...like the songs on the album...a finished work.
